Goodwill Makeovers

I  went to Goodwill yesterday. I never find anything there to craft with, but I scored two things.
I got this for $1.50.

I painted it Watermelon.

I am going to add some other embellishments as soon as the clear coat dries.
Update: Here is the finished product.

I  also found this for $1.50.
I  decided it needed to be Watermelon too. This color goes with everything in my craft room.

Then I added some decorations to it.
I added some Gerber Daisies.
And here it is sitting on my desk hutch.
I am not sure which one I like better. I am going to sleep on it.

  2. I like the first one better. Seems like the heigths of the objects balance out better.

Cute upcycle. I am a red person myself. Might "borrown" some of your ideas.

  3. I'm using the same color of pink with black in my daughter's room. I like the top photo better, but I love the design on the round box.

  4. Love the candelabra! Did you paint the prisms black or did they come that way?

    1. I prime it first. This color seems to take well. I am definitely no expert on spray paint. I get drips and runs too ugh!

Secondly I think I have that exact same candelabra thing (also from a thrift store) does it have exceptionally tiny holes that will never hold a candle?
